Coming Soon: Beyond Barriers Art Show
In recognition of December 3 as International Day of Persons with Disabilities, The Library and the Town of Ajax is proud to host the Beyond Barriers Art Show celebrating creativity, resilience, and diverse perspectives. Ajax artists of all ages who identify as persons with disabilities are invited to submit their artwork for display in this special exhibition.
All types of art media, including pen, pencil, paint, crayon, collage, pastels, markers, or any combination of these, are welcome as we want to showcase your voice and vision. This is a platform to inspire, connect, and amplify the talents of our community.
Drop-off days for submissions are Tuesday, November 11, 4–8:30 p.m., or Saturday, November 15, 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at Main Branch. Artwork will not be accepted outside of drop-off days or at other branches. Artists must live in Ajax. To enter, download an entry form (or pick one up at any branch) and return the completed form with your entry on one of the drop-off days.
