Design a Bookmark Contest!
September 8–October 3
Ajax kids from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 can showcase their love of reading by designing an original bookmark. The winners will be announced during Ontario Public Library Week (October 19–25). 12 winning bookmarks will be printed and distributed in Ajax Public Library branches each month in 2026, and winners will receive 25 copies of their bookmark.
The contest deadline is October 3, 2025. Artists must live in Ajax. To enter, download an entry form (or pick one up at any branch) and return the completed form with your entry to any branch before the deadline.

All the designs were fantastic, but these 12 designs will be printed and available in all branches throughout 2025. Winners also receive 25 copies of their bookmarks to share with family and friends!
